The Last Supper

Now on the first day of unleavened bread the disciples came to Jesus, saying, "Where do you want us to prepare for You to eat the Passover?" Matthew 26:17  

                              Jesus and His disciples went to Jerusalem for the feast of Passover. Jesus told Peter and John to go and get everything ready. They asked him,      

      " Where do you want us to get it ready?" 

      "When you go into the city," said Jesus, "A man carrying a jar of water will meet you. Follow him into a house. Say to the owner that the Teacher asks where the room is that we are to eat our Passover supper in. He will show you the room." They went as Jesus told them, and everything was just as He had said.

    While they were sitting at the table that night, Jesus took some Passover bread. He thanked God for it. Then He broke the bread and said, "This is My body which is given for you. Do this in memory of Me."

     Jesus took the cup of wine. He passed it around and said, "Drink from this cup, all of you. This is My blood of the New Covenant."
