The Lost Sheep

And He told them this parable, saying... Luke 15:1

                              This is a story Jesus told. There was a man who had a hundred sheep. They were all fine sheep, and he took good care of them. One night when he counted them, he noticed that one of the sheep were missing.

     He searched and searched for his lost sheep. Finally, he found it, laid the sheep on his shoulders, and came home singing with happiness. When he got home he said to all his neighbors, "Be glad with me, I have found my lost sheep!"

     Jesus said, "It is the same in heaven. There is more joy in heaven over one person who decides to follow God, than over ninety-nine people who have been good all their lives."
